Donor Recommendation Form

Making a grant from your donor advised fund is very easy.  Simply fill out the donor recommendation form below and either mail or fax it to our office.  Once we receive your form, our office will mail the grant along with a letter to your charity of choice.

Grants are typically made within one week and will be distributed from our host, the Greater Salina Community Foundation.  If you need it processed sooner than that, please call our office, 785-445-3611

Donors can also make grant requests online through their Donor Central account.  Don’t have one set up?  Contact the Foundation and we will set up one for you.

Heartland Community Foundation Announces Grant Awards

For the 5th time in three years, Heartland Community Foundation has awarded grants in Ellis, Rooks and Trego Counties.  The grant cycle ended on May 15, 2017.  60 applications totaling $517,527.44 were received during the application period which ran from April 1 to May 15.  43 grants totaling $147, 933.00 were announced this week.  Funding for the grants again was made possible by dollars from the Dane G. Heartland Community Foundation reminds agencies and organizations there is only 3 weeks remaining in current grant application cycle

In late March, Heartland Community Foundation announced the opening of its first grant cycle of 2017 for the counties it serves – Ellis, Trego, and Rooks Counties. Gifts from generous donors to Heartland Community Foundation allow Heartland the privilege of awarding grants in Ellis, Rooks and Trego Counties.
