Donor Recommendation Form

Making a grant from your donor advised fund is very easy.  Simply fill out the donor recommendation form below and either mail or fax it to our office.  Once we receive your form, our office will mail the grant along with a letter to your charity of choice.

Grants are typically made within one week and will be distributed from our host, the Greater Salina Community Foundation.  If you need it processed sooner than that, please call our office, 785-445-3611

Donors can also make grant requests online through their Donor Central account.  Don’t have one set up?  Contact the Foundation and we will set up one for you.

Heartland Community Foundation awards over $165,000 in grants

The Heartland Community Foundation, which serves Ellis, Rooks and Trego Counties, recently awarded over $165,000 in spring grants to area organizations across the three counties. The following organizations received funding through the foundation’s Dane G. Hansen Community Grant Funds for Ellis, Rooks and Trego Counties, the Kansas Health Foundation Fund, the Stockton Community Fund and the Trego Legacy Fund. Community foundation accepting spring grant applications

HAYS, Kan.—The Heartland Community Foundation, which serves Ellis, Rooks and Trego Counties, is accepting applications for fall grants. Online applications open March 15 and are due Wednesday, May 15, 2019. Over $150,000 is available to charitable projects in Ellis, Rooks and Trego Counties through the Dane G. Hansen Community Grant Fund, with $50,000 available per county. Focused on improving quality of life, grants will support education, health care, community social services and security, conservation and environment, arts and culture, and community beautification.
