Scholarship Funds give donors the opportunity to provide educational support for students at any level of education.  Donors may designate a particular field of study, a specific education institution, and/or eligibility requirements.

Community foundation announces spring grant cycle

  The Heartland Community Foundation, which serves Ellis, Rooks and Trego Counties, will accept applications for spring grants from March 15 to May 15, 2018. Grants will be awarded from the Dane G. Hansen Community Grant Fund, the Heartland Area Action Fund and the Heartland Healthy Living Fund. Focused on improving quality of life, funding will support education, health care, community social services and security, conservation and environment, arts and culture, and community beautification. Clean-up Grant Deadline is March 1

The deadline to apply for Dane G. Hansen Community Clean-Up Grants is quickly approaching! Applications are due March 1, 2018. Clean-up grants are designed to assist with community beautification efforts, to eliminate the financial barrier to clean-up projects such as land fill fees and equipment rental, and to promote community pride and encourage volunteerism. Grants can be used for equipment rental, dumpster rental, landfill fees, paint or other consumable supplies, and for support of volunteers.
