HAYS, Kan.—The Heartland Community Foundation, which serves Ellis, Rooks and Trego Counties, is accepting applications for spring grants. Online applications opened March 15 and are due Wednesday, May 15, 2024.

All donations to the Ellis County Legacy Fund will be matched $1 for $1 by the Patterson Family Foundation through 12/31. Ellis County raised $59,098 during February's match month and can earn up to $70,000 in matching funds, leaving $10,902 that can still be earned by the end of the year!Heartland Community Foundation scholarships available
We are accepting scholarship applications for the Paul and Terrii Bowman Scholarship fund for Rooks County seniors pursuing a Votech education.
