Free grant writing workshops to be offered by Heartland Community Foundation

HAYS, Kan.—The Heartland Community Foundation, which serves Ellis, Rooks and Trego Counties will host two free grant writing workshops on Monday, September 16, 2019.

Designed for nonprofits and others who apply for grants, these workshops will provide practical tips for writing stronger grant applications to help secure funding for a variety of community projects. The first session will be held in Ellis County from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Welcome Center, 2700 Vine Street, Hays. The second session will be in Rooks County from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the RCH Education Center, Highway 183 and Washington Street in Plainville.

Both sessions will feature the same presentation, and a light sandwich meal will be served at each location. There is no cost to attend, but registration is required. Please RSVP to heartland@gscf.org or call 785-621-4090.
